Ben Nye Media PRO crème contour 18 color palette

I got Ben Nye Media PRO crème contour 18 color palette quite some time ago, but only now I started discovering what an amazing product it is.

All the colours are super creamy (no sheen, shimmer, etc.), pigmented and easy blend-able. It’s not thick or greasy at all though, so even if you had oilier skin, you would still be able to get away with it.

The selection of colours are gorgeous, and keeping in mind that you can mix them together, it’s easy to achieve so many different looks.

Top row has all skin type of colours, starting from very pale to dark caramel (Ivory, Ultra Light, Almond, Light Caramel, Neutral & Medium)  First 3 colours are perfect for highlighting and the other 3 can be used for contouring, achieving a tanned look. All the top colours could be even used as a foundation.

Second row has gorgeous shades- red, pinks, peach (Real Red, Jazzberry, Guava Blush, Blushing Bride, Blushing Rose & Shy Rose)

… And the last row has strong dark type of colours (Rich Brown, Urban Violet, Plum, Purple, Terra Blush & Dark Burgundy)

Both of them are lovely as blushes, but also makes beautiful lip colours. I tried using them as eye shadow also, it creases a bit too quick, but if you want to use it as a colourful eye base, use a good primer first and it will work fine.

The package is very simple- all black, sleek and sturdy so it’s super convenient for keeping in the makeup kit. It also has a mixing tray built in the package (where usually the mirror would be)
