Perfect palette tag 2

I’ve been meaning to film this one, but since the time is quite hectic recently, I decided to do a blog post about it!

I always loved palettes, when I’m purchasing anything I always prefer either something that’s already made into a palette or it’s easily possible to put in an empty one. Being a makeup artist thought me thinking of the convenience at all times and having lots of small single packaged items is just not… very user friendly.

There is a tag going on YouTube that’s calledPERFECT PALETTE TAG2 and that’s what I’m going to do!

Question 1: eyeliner, brush or nothing (in the palette)

I do prefer having nothing over any usual things (let’s face it- normally it’s crap). So many genius palettes would have been so much better if there were no brush/ eyeliner/ or mascara inserted. And let’s face it, are you really going to keep the mascara or lip gloss in your palette? Probably not, or then you’ll always forget to use it… Or if you will use it, well then it will be almost certainly finished before the actual content in the palette, so you’ll end up with empty space…

Question 2: A palette you have hit pan on

My two palettes that I use all the time and had hit a serious pan on are Too Faced ‘Natural Eyes’ (still the oldie one in the cardboard package, but who cares, I’ll use it until date of expiry will tear us apart) and Urban Decay ‘Naked’

Question 3: Favourite ‘naked’ palette

Well I like all sorts of things naked… But Urban Decay ‘Naked’ (the first and original) paletteis the one that my make-up brush keeps digging in.

Question 4: Favourite holiday or limited edition palette

Well I have two but one of then is eyeshadow and other one is for blush so it’s fine, right?

I got so much use out of NARSissist ‘Dual- intensity eyeshadow palette’ and I never want it to ever finish! The texture of the shadows surprises me every day though, because whenever I wet the shadow, it dries perfectly the way it was before… It’s like magic! By the way I would say KIKO ‘Water Eyeshadow’ is a pretty good much cheaper dupe for them… but in single packaging.

I’m so happy that I got my hands on the Benefit ‘Real Cheeky Party’ blushing beauty kit at Christmas time, because having all the best Benefit cheek products under one metal roof is just lovely! Even though if somebody asked me, I would get rid of ‘They’re real push-up liner’ (I do not have a good relationship with it) and ‘They’re real mascara’, and put two more cheek products. But oh well, it’s still a gorgeous palette.

Question 5: A palette you would repurchase or wish you had a backup (if it’s no longer available)

I will soooo repurchase Too Faced ‘Natural eyes’ once mine is done!

Question 6: A shade you wish was sold individually

Too Faced ‘Velvet Revolver’ is my ultimate fave eyeshadow for the crease work, since it’s perfectly soft and blend’able.

Question 7: Wild card (pick a question from the original Perfect Palette Tag to answer again)

My pick: Most Versatile

Well I have to be honest here. The most versatile palette will be always the one, you made yourself! I love companies that allow the eye shadows to be sold in pan forms, so one can create his own palette. My go to companies for that are MAC, Makeup Geek and Inglot.

Question 8: The palette you would recommend to a friend

Too Faced ‘Chocolate palette’ is just the one to be recommended! The shade selection is pretty versatile and easy to use, it looks gorgeous and… smells like chocolate!
