There is a lot of love going towards Make Up For Ever foundations, but for some reason not enough for this particular one!
This is one of those foundations that I like to have in my work kit at all times. It is definitely more on the natural skin-like looking side. The foundation has a lovely creamy but not a thick texture so it feels lightweight on the skin. It has a medium coverage but can easily be built up to quite a full coverage or sheered out. I actually even enjoy a smell of it, even though I prefer face products to be perfume-free. It has a really clean and fresh scent.
This foundation is targeted towards drier or mature skins, but if you have a normal skin and like a dewy skin, it would work perfect too! (I would be careful with it on oilier skin though). It glides on the skin beautifully and smooths the fine lines, as well as gives an appearance of a firmer skin. #Liquid Lift’ foundation also looks great on the camera; I use it quite often when I do make-up for photo-shoots. I would suggest powdering at least a T-zone lightly if you tend to get shiny.
The packaging of the foundation looks quite sophisticated; it comes in the thick glass bottle and has a pump. The only disadvantage of glass packaging is that when I am packing and traveling to work on locations it tends to take up a lot of space and feels quite heavy. So for that I would rather carry this foundation in small plastic containers.
