RealHer cosmetics. The lipstick review

We all need a little bit of empowerment (or a lot) and even the smallest gestures can make us fell better and stronger. When I see a makeup company that embrace it, I’m always immediately drawn to it. RealHer cosmetics brand is just about that.

Our mission is to empower and bring out the best in the modern woman: to know her worth, to feel proud of her individuality, to love each and every one of her flaws, and to not fear who she really is.’

What can I say? It’s just beautiful. Making a world a better place. Now the real test is obviously the quality of the products itself.

I received all 5 lipsticks from their line (I guess they were going for quality over quality and I embrace that). Even though the range is small, but the shade selection is great, everyone can find something for themselves from different skin tones, to seasons, to occasions. And the name of each lipstick colour is an empowering message. So every time you see it, you feel better. How cool is that?

So what do they say about their lipsticks?

‘Introducing RealHer's debut line of gentle, moisturizing lipsticks enriched with Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Macadamia Oil and Vitamin E.’
‘Each colour features a soft matte finish with an ever so slight gloss that glides onto the lips smoothly with a creamy rich colour pigment.’

I would say they are definitely more creamy to glossy texture then matte, although I noticed that one color- 'I Define Beauty Myself' is more matte then the rest of the colours which has much more gloss. For those ones I had to blot the lips with thin tissue if I wanted to absorb the moisture and get more creamy finish rather glossy.

I was so surprised by how actually pigmented they are. One swipe and you get a full on colour. They also have a great staying power and do not dry the lips even a slightest bit (keep in mind I have naturally really dry lips). Two lighter coloured lippies has a perfect combination of creaminess and pigmentation. The more dramatic colours '(Be yourself be RealHer', 'I am Powerful' and 'Women Rule the World') are so super pigmented and creamy that I definitely feel the need of using a lip brush if I want a precise application and a lip pencil to not let the colour bleed outside the lip line.

My personal favourite is I Define Beauty Myself (well the name says it all, but I love the product as much as the name!) it’s a great cool toned pink which gives you enough colour to brighten your face but still neutral which makes it perfect for every day wear. Second favourite that will be worn a lot in the autumn/ winter season is I am Powerful which is very deep almost smoky reddish berry shade.

P.S. Even though I got these lipsticks as a gift, I was not paid to review them. I am and will always be honest with my opinions.

Best wishes,

Step 1:

Apply your preferred highlighter on the cupids bow (the double curve on the upper lip). Since dark colours make lips appear smaller, this trick will make your lips look fuller.  I recommend MAC Mineralize Skinfinish #Soft & Gentle.

Step 2:

Line the lips perfectly with Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip waterproof lip liner pencil #12C and fill them in. This will help the shape of the lips look perfect and keep the lip colour in place.

Step 3:

Fill the lips with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil #Train Bleu. Even though technically it is a pencil but it’s too thick to achieve a perfect lip line. It will add the depth and slight hydration to the lips but will remain looking matte. Keep this in your purse and touch up the lips after eating (oil removes any makeup, so oily food will too).

Trying Caudalie skin care

I had a serious obsession with finding new great skin care products lately and got a whole bunch of different Caudalie skin care products.
They have an option of smaller travel sizes on their website which I always do appreciate because it's perfect if you want to try new product with-ought a commitment of a full size and it's also perfect if you travel a lot (and I've been traveling a lot lately).

Caudalie skin care

This is what I got:

Purifying mask (A mask that absorbs impurities, tightens the appearance of pores, and reduces breakouts to support natural regeneration of healthy skin cells.)

Mix & Mask trio: Detox mask (sebum absorbing, deep cleansing, anti-oxidant and toxin draining, skin perfecting),  Moisturising Mask - (anti-oxidant, strengthening and moisturising, nourishing); Glycolic Peel (adds radiance, targets pigmentation, anti-dark spot, mild exfoliating- non irritating peeling)

Beauty Elixir (smoothes features, tightens pores, and gives the complexion a burst of radiance. An excellent base for make-up, this water awakens the skin in the morning and livens it up before a night out)

Grape water (refreshingly cool mist tones & moisturises skin. Enriched with moisturising polysaccharides and mineral salts, providing an instant boost of hydration)

Divine Oil (Enriching dry oil for body, face and hair)

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (immediate and long-lasting calming and soothing action, reactivates the skin’s hydration mechanisms and restores its water reserves. As skin becomes stronger, it feels softer and more comfortable.)

Love Me Beauty box No.2

Hey!!! I'm back to blogging! I've missed writing :)

So I've shared my first Love Me Beauty box unboxing on my YouTube channel and now I received another one.

I'm always keen of finding new beauty products, but to be honest, makeup is not my only obsession! I also love skin care and hair care products, jewelry, candles, books, teas... And so on! So whenever there are few things combined, it's even better!

Love Me Beauty box is very new to me personally, I only learned about it when I found a discount voucher on my ELLE UK magazine. So of course I needed to check it out (I also seduced my good friend Dayana to order it too..). And what I liked about it is that you can actually choose your own products (instead of getting some unnecessary crap sometimes), there are a lot of full size stuff and they have their own jewellery line. I was wearing the necklace I got in my previous box all the time and got million of compliments!

So the whole way of ordering this box is way different then most of the subscription boxes. You get 60 credits a month (or you can buy if you want) and add stuff, which are between 5 and 30 credits, to your bag.

This is what I got today in my mail:

First I was shocked when I saw the envelope it came in, because last time I got a massive heavy cardboard box which I loved and this time it felt like it's just the products with no box. But when I opened the package I saw this super cute makeup pouch which actually is lovely quality and will come in handy!

Percy & Reed London 'No fuss flawlessness dry conditioner' is happily full sized (150ml) and is supposed to condition your hair and other good stuff with just a spritz! I have naturally very dry hair and will be excited to use it! No, I have not tried it yet, since as I mentioned, it just arrived few hours ago to my mail!

Caudalie 'Polyphenol' anti- wrinkle defense serum (10ml) comes in a glass bottle which you better not drop it on the bathroom floor (and with my luck it's probably gonna happen...). From what I can tell it looks very fluid'y and I love that about serums, but other than that I will only know when I try it!

Dr. Lipp 'Original Nipple Balm for Lips' is also a full size product (15ml) and 'Oh Heavens!' How much I wanted to try this! The package is gorgeous, it's 100% natural, and well.. I might even give it ago on my nipples too...

Try the first box for just £1 (plus shipping) with code: ELLE1Valid till 30/03/16 (I do not benefit from this code, just found it in ELLE magazine)

Yours truly,
